Join FORSE

Friends of the Ross Sea Ecosystem (FORSE) started in 2001 as a group of 30 scientists determined that the Ross Sea, where most of them have worked, should not be destroyed by industrial fishing like all other high-seas marine ecosystems on Earth.

The original members of FORSE have made significant progress, and continue to provide sound scientific justification to political bodies like SCAR, CCAMLR, IWC and CEP for Ross Sea protection.

However, to be successful, they feel that even more voices are needed, coming together in the defense of the Ross Sea. If you agree, join in, no dues required.

The charter members of FORSE (now the Scientific Advisory Board of The Last Ocean) have more than 300 combined years of experience in Ross Sea ecology.
